X-Mas Drift 3 - Inagural event for the JZX90

I usher everyone I know to come check this out. If you have a car you can drift this is the event to go to! Even though the cage isn't finished and some other parts still haven't arrived. I've almost finished the tune on my car and I will be there driving regardless! Come check it out!!

X90 Gets a Roll Cage!!

I spent the entire weekend and Monday hanging out with Drew from RAW Innovations building the roll cage in the X90. Drew is one of the best fabricators I know and has been an AMAZING sponsor for the car. I recommend anyone who needs any sort of metal work to contact him. Here are some teaser photos:

Raw Footage

I was digging through my old computer and found some raw footage we took with the old car after I got back from Long Beach on a private closed course. This was all on stock twins at 314hp. The goal was to edit it into some badassery but it never happened. So I figured I would share the footage. If anyone wants the original stuff to play with making a video for me I would be happy to share and promote your skills!

Sticker Design

I'm no expert in photo shop but I would like to generate a graphic design for the car using my sponsors logo's.

Here is a good side shot. Please let me know if you have any ideas!! :D

Here is a car I think looks pretty awesome:

Here is my old grafix package, which I didn't really like:

Official CoupesFAIL Wallpaper!

Here is a wallpaper I made from Sunday's Fun. Click the Image to bring up full size version then right click and "save as". Yes, I know a Mustang weaseled his way in but with 460hp and a kick ass owner I felt obligated :P

Enjoy!

Caught on Film?

It seem's I was caught on film a couple weekends ago when I took the X90 out to a local "practice" meet to give the car a good shake down and just figure her out and what she may need. Body roll, lack of power, heat soaking all became apparent. Although I did get some good entries keep in mind that this is my FIRST time drifting this car. The car is light years ahead of my last and yet so far behind at the same time. I can't wait to get her up to par as she will be a force to be reckoned with. Also check out Harry tearing it up. He's come along way. Shows you can teach an old dog new tricks ;) MUCH <3

Reflecting on Red Bull

With all the drifting season's coming to a close and Pro Qualifiers coming up quick I've been reflecting on Pro-Am Nationals @ Red Bull's World Drifting Championship in Long Beach. It was probably the most fun and intense experience I've ever had drifting. Surrounded by some of the best drifters in the world. Running a course set up to be one of the fastest and most dangerous ever imagined. Over all the whole experience was top notch. I had many very good friends and sponsors attend with me, even my father showed up. Despite the fact that it didn't pan out due to a very hard wall hit from faulty steering components, I still had the most fun, most exzillerating weekend of my life. To all those who qualified or will be trying again this year: Watch out I'll be back in full force and you'll see the entry speed and angle I was attempting at Red Bull will be repeated, this time not to be thwarted by mechanical failures.

Photoshoot

Big thanks to Malcolm for taking these pictures! Check out his MySpace page
And of course my lovely Gail, who did her thing :D I'm a lucky guy.

Right after the shoot I backed my car into a grassy spot that have a 2 ft deep hole hidden inside! After trying for an hour to get the car out I finally called J-Rat to help!
